Going forward, when people visit E-tax for individuals, they can choose to see a large part of the pages in English.
This makes it easier for non-Danish speakers to navigate our self-service solution.
On the day of the release of the tax assessment notice for 2023, all central parts of it will be available in both Danish and English.
This is the first time the tax assessment notice will be released in English.
The Danish Tax Agency is extremely pleased that it is now possible to offer an alternative to the many non-Danish-speaking individuals who pay tax in Denmark. Jan Møller Mikkelsen, Deputy Director General at the Tax Agency explains:
”Being met in a language that is easier to understand than Danish builds trust and increases understanding. The translation of E-tax for individuals helps more individuals to become more familiar with their tax payments," says Jan, adding that the site has also been given a design boost that will benefit users.
At E-tax for individuals, it is possible to view and change your tax assessment notice, authorise an accountant or relatives and pay taxes. Anyone who pays tax in Denmark can use E-tax – also from countries outside Denmark.
